A radiology technician is the person whose job is to take patients’ images by using x-ray. His job is to help doctors’ job in determining the cause of the ailments and then find the treatments for the problem. A radiology technician also has to undergo long process of studying. You also need to have certificates to prove their ability and skill.
Here’re some basic requirements needed when you want to be a radiology technician:
- You need to have formal education
You need to have a degree in radiology subject, such as: certificate program, associate degree program, or bachelor’s degree program.
- You need to have certificates and licenses
Having a certificate from American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) isn’t always enough. Sometimes you have to undergo other tests.
- You need to have ARRT certificate
